Cadence Digital Flow for Arm Total Compute Solutions

Cadence’s integrated digital RTL-to-GDS RAKs that have been optimized for SoC development using the latest Arm TCS22 include the Cadence CerebrusSmart Chip Explorer, InnovusImplementation system, gender Synthesis solution, Modus DFT software solution, QuantusExtraction Solution, Tempus Sync Approval Solution and ECO Option, Voltus IC power integrity solution, compliant® Verification of equivalence and low power compliant.

Digital RAKs provide users of Cortex-A715 and Cortex-X3 CPUs and Mali-G715 and Immortalis-G715 GPUs with several key features. For example, Cadence Cerebrus AI-driven flow optimization enables fast and efficient design-specific closure with reduced engineering effort. Cadence iSpatial technology provides an integrated and predictable implementation flow for the fastest design closure. RAKs also include an innovative intelligent hierarchical flow to deliver better execution times on large high-performance processors. Tempus ECO technology integrated into the digital workflow for approval provides accurate and final design close-out based on path-based analysis. Finally, the activity-aware power optimization engine built into the Innovus implementation system and the Genus The synthesis solution significantly reduces dynamic power consumption, helping customers achieve their low power goals.

Cadence Verification Flow for Arm Total Computing Solutions

Verification flow includes Cadence Xcelium Logic simulation platform, Palladium® Z1 and Z2 enterprise emulation platforms, Helium Virtual and hybrid platforms, Jasper® Formal verification platform, vManager Planning and measurements, tools and VIP content and VIP system for Arm-based designs.

The Cadence verification stream enables customers to improve verification throughput and perform advanced software debugging for SoCs containing Cortex-A715 and Cortex-X3 CPUs and Mali-G715 and Immortalis-G715 GPUs. Additionally, virtual and hybrid platform reference designs include Arm Fast models to enable early software development and verification using the Cadence Helium and Palladium and Protium platforms, also known as dynamic duo.

“With the delivery of Arm TCS22, we are enabling customers to create high-performance, highly efficient and secure products that deliver the best user experience across a variety of mobile applications,” said Paul Williamson, vice president and general manager, Customer Sector of activity, Arm. “By continuing to collaborate with Cadence, our joint customers can leverage our latest Armv9 processors and Mali-G715 and Immortalis-G715 GPUs, along with Cadence’s digital and verification streams, to bring SoCs to market faster.”

“This latest collaboration with Arm further demonstrates our commitment to empowering designers to create the world’s most advanced mobile designs that deliver the best user experience,” said Dr. Chin-Chi Teng, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Digital & Signoff Group at Cadence. . “Arm used the latest digital and verification flow innovations from Cadence to develop Arm TCS22, and we are jointly enabling customers to leverage these latest innovations to achieve optimal power and performance results and a faster path to success. tapeout.”

The Cadence digital stream helps customers achieve PPA goals, and the full verification stream provides enhanced verification throughput. Both streams support Cadence smart system design strategy, which enables customers to achieve excellence in SoC design.
