How to Select Everything in Google Photos from PC or Mobile Device

Google Photos offers many features to the user. It is among the most popular photo sharing and storage services. Google Photos allows a user to quickly browse and organize folders by allowing them to easily select all photos at once.

Steps to Select All Google Photos on Windows and Mac:

  • Go to Google Photos
  • By tapping the white checkmark in the upper left corner, select a photo
  • The checkmark will turn blue once you select it
  • Now scroll to the last photo
  • Hold the Shift key and select the last photo
  • You will notice that the selected photos have all turned blue
  • The number of selected photos will appear in the upper left corner of the page.

A user can also select all photos grouped under a particular date:

  • Open Google photos
  • Tap the check mark next to a specific date
  • Once you have selected it, you will see blue checkmarks at the top left of each selected image
  • A user can also select multiple dates. The number of selected photos will appear in the upper left corner of the page.

Steps to select all Google photos on Android device:

  • Go to Google Photos
  • Long press the image you want to select
  • Scroll to the end to select more photos without lifting your finger
  • The number of selected photos will appear at the top left of your screen.

A user can also select all photos grouped under a particular date:

  • Go to Google Photos
  • Tap a specific date
  • Selected photos will have a blue checkmark
  • In the upper left corner of your screen, the number of selected photos will be displayed.

Steps to Select All Google Photos on iPhone:

  • Go to Google Photos
  • Long press on the first photo you want to select. Once you tap on it, the images will appear with a blue tick
  • Scroll to the end to select more photos.

A user can also select all photos under a particular date:

  • Open Google Photos
  • Tap on a particular date
  • Selected photos will have a blue checkmark
  • The number of selected photos will appear in the upper left corner of your screen.
