The denim industry has countless stories to tell. And video is an ideal way to visually communicate these developments, whether it’s a factory’s new finish treatment, a brand’s latest collection, or a conversation about sustainability.
TENCEL™ launched our YouTube channel Blue Lenz in 2020 to serve as a hub for denim content. Over the next two years, Blue Lenz grew its library through submissions from factories, brands and influencers. We now have nearly 1,000 subscribers and 79,000 total views.
Last year, Blue Lenz held the first Blue Lenz Video Awards at Bluezone in Munich, and we awarded films for their educational value, denim collection design, focus on sustainability, art direction, animation and more. In August, we’ll be hosting the awards again during Bluezone to honor this year’s best videos.
